PUSSY RIOT – CONCERTO EXCLUSIVO EM PORTUGAL

No dia 26 de julho, a Bang Venue torna-se palco de um acontecimento marcante: o único concerto em Portugal das Pussy Riot, o coletivo russo de mulheres que desafiou a repressão do regime de Putin com arte, coragem e ação direta.

On July 26, Bang Venue hosts a landmark event: the only concert in Portugal by Pussy Riot, the Russian feminist collective that defied Putin’s regime with art, courage and direct action.

Mais do que um concerto, este será um dia de resistência cultural, pensamento crítico e celebração da liberdade, com um programa imersivo que combina música, cinema, debate e encontro.

More than a concert, this will be a day of cultural resistance, critical thinking and celebration of freedom, with an immersive programme combining music, film, debate and gathering.

Desde 2012, as Pussy Riot têm sido símbolo global de rebeldia, feminismo e ativismo político. Através de performances artísticas e ações públicas disruptivas, enfrentaram o poder autoritário com criatividade e risco pessoal. A sua luta — pelo direito à voz, ao corpo, à dissidência — inspirou milhões, especialmente mulheres, a não se calarem.

Since 2012, Pussy Riot have become a global symbol of rebellion, feminism and political activism. Through disruptive performances and public interventions, they confronted authoritarianism with creativity and personal risk. Their struggle — for voice, body and dissent — has inspired millions, especially women, to rise and speak.

Com Maria Alyokhina (Pussy Riot) e convidadas/os de movimentos sociais, culturais e políticos. Um espaço de diálogo sobre o papel da arte na resistência.

4:00 PM – Roundtable “Art, Freedom & Disobedience”
With Maria Alyokhina (Pussy Riot) and guests from social, cultural and political movements. A conversation on the role of art in resistance.

18h00 – Exibição do documentário “Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer” + Debate
Filme que documenta o julgamento e prisão das Pussy Riot, seguido de conversa aberta com elementos do coletivo.

6:00 PM – Screening of “Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer” + Debate
Documentary on Pussy Riot’s trial and imprisonment, followed by an open conversation with the group.

20h00 – Rebel Dinner (Jantar Temático)
Uma refeição coletiva com espírito insubmisso e partilha de ideias. Opcional e com lugares limitados.

8:00 PM – Rebel Dinner (Themed Dinner)
A collective meal with a spirit of rebellion and exchange. Optional and with limited seats.
